5월 15일부터 참가 신청 접수 시작, 1차 서류 평가 ‧ 2차 발표평가 등 5개월간 일정 거쳐 10월 25일 최종결과 발표

 

국방부는 국방분야 3D프린팅 기술의 적용 가능성을 확인하고 ‘군수혁신’에 필요한 3D프린팅 기술확산과 생산기반 구축을 위해 ‘제2회 국방 3D프린팅 경진대회’를 개최한다.

이번 대회는 제54회 한국전자전(’23. 10. 24.~27.)의 부대행사로 한국전자정보통신산업진흥회가 주최하고, 3D융합산업협회가 주관하며, 국방부와 한국생산기술연구원이 후원한다.

작년에 이어 올해 두 번째로 개최되는 ‘국방 3D프린팅 경진대회’의 공모 분야는 크게 ① 3D프린팅 활용 우수사례와 ② 우리 군에 적용할 혁신적인 아이디어로 구분되며, 3D프린팅에 의한 기술·공정혁신 및 실제 적용 사례는 군인 및 군무원을 대상으로 하고, 군에서 사용 중인 장비, 부품, 개인 장구류 등의 개선 아이디어는 대한민국 국민이면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

국방부는 현존 전력의 운용성 향상과 미래 국방 환경 변화에 대응할 수 있는 아이디어 등을 고려해 공모 분야를 선정했으며, ‘국방 3D프린팅 경진대회’ 개최를 통해 국방 분야에 3D프린팅 기술을 접목하고 군 내에 3D프린팅 기술을 확산하는 데에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

이번 대회는 5월 15일부터 참가 신청 접수를 시작으로 1차 서류 평가, 2차 발표평가 등 5개월간의 일정을 거쳐 10월 25일에 최종결과를 발표한다. 공모 분야 시상은 국방부 장관상, 각 군 참모총장상을 비롯하여 대상(2명), 최우수(6명), 우수(8명) 총 16명을 선정하고 150만 원 상당의상금을 지급할 예정이다.

참가신청 방법은 접수처에 참가신청서 제출을 통해 접수가 가능하며 국방부(인터넷 · 인트라넷)와 3D융합산업협회(인터넷) 누리집을 통해 제출서류 등 자세한 내용을 확인할 수 있다.

국방부에서는 이와 더불어 산업통상자원부, 한국생산기술연구원과 함께 ‘국방 분야 3D프린팅 전문인력 양성 교육’과 ‘금속부품에 대한 제조기술개발’ 등을 실시하여 전문인력 양성 및 군의 기술력 향상에 노력을 기울이고 있으며, 앞으로도 혁신적인 3D프린팅 기술을 국방 분야에 적용하여 과학기술 강군으로 도약하기 위한 다양한 노력을 해나갈 계획이다.

Article 3 (Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information)
